Monday May 5
There's a whole lot going on these days. Today Myspace is premiering my new music video for the song "Who", a collaboration between Five O'Clock Heroes and friend/supermodel Agyness Deyn. The track was recorded on a Friday and the video was shot the following afternoon. It was a really intimate shoot with minimal crew, equipment, and preparation. You can view "Who" over at myspace or watch a nice QuickTime here.
In other news, I've directed a bunch of jobs since I last updated the site. Between shooting videos in Chicago, LA, and NYC, I even managed to sneak off to Spain for a week. There is a shoot coming up towards the end of the month that I'm really excited about so stay tuned.

The music video I worked on with director Kent Alterman for his upcoming movie Semi-Pro was released this week. While my cut was more of a straight performance video, New Line jazzed up the final version with some graphics and additional footage from the film.
Even though it's pretty different now, and I can't take credit for most of it, it's still worth checking out. It's hard to go wrong with Will Farrell, plus the song is hilarious. I'll try to post my extended version at some point if I can, but in the meantime you can watch the official "Love Me Sexy" music video on youtube where it's been the #1 video. Also, go see Semi-Pro when it comes out on February 29.

2007 really flew by. It was an incredible year for me, both professionally and personally. I worked with some great people and am very proud of what was accomplished. 2008 is looking to be even better. I'm currently working on some really cool stuff that I can't talk about yet, but will very soon.
Please take a moment to listen to this wonderful holiday song by Die Romantik. Christmas may have already passed, but who says we can't prolong the holiday cheer (or misery) a little longer? Thanks to everyone who made 2007 so great, and here's to 2008!
Friday November 2
Wow, it's been a while! Since my last post Audrey and I got married, and we just returned from an amazing honeymoon in Brazil. While I'd love to go on celebrating my marriage with lavish vacations and champagne toasts forever, it's time to get back to work.
I'm proud to present a new video I made for The Postmarks. The overall look was inspired by the album artwork of 60's chanteuses, namely Francoise Hardy and Astrud Gilberto. Shot in one day in Central Park, I stuck with the verité shooting style of the "Jacqueline" short (starring my wife). I hope you enjoy it. In honor of my least favorite holiday, here is The Postmarks cover of Ministry's "Every Day Is Halloween".
Click here to watch the video for "Let go".
Monday September 10
The folks at New Line Records have made a sweet little website for the OFFICE video. Click here to check it out. The video shows the band living the good life, as they get a little adult education from some familiar faces. OFFICE's upcoming album A Night At The Ritz is fantastic and is available everywhere September 25th.

A day at the OFFICE.
Yesterday I shot a video for another great band, The Postmarks. This was a really fun shoot as well, and I can't wait to start editing it. Stay tuned.
Friday August 24
I am pleased to present a new project that I shot in Paris and edited in New York. It's a love letter to many things, and was inspired by a song from my good friends Die Romantik.
This was one of my most satisfying projects, so I hope you enjoy. Click here to watch.

In other news, I shot a video for Chicago band OFFICE over the weekend. I'm cutting it now and I'm laughing my ass off. It will be up here soon.
Wednesday August 1
I've just returned to New York from a fantastic trip to Paris. While there I visited friends and family, and also shot a little something, which I will post on here as soon as it's finished. Now that I'm home it's back to work. I've got two more videos happening this month, so stay tuned for details on those and other projects in the works.

Guess what? Five new music videos are finally posted on my work page. Some of these videos are already airing on VH1, Fuse, and MTVU here in the US, as well as on MTV over in Europe.
Exciting plans are in the works for the summer, including new shorts and some traveling overseas. Stay tuned for updates.

Mark running away from me in Asbury Park...
Friday April 6
Since my last post, I've directed two new music videos... crazy, I know. What can I say, I love my job.
The first video was for "Belt Loops" by The Films, a band I was turned on to last year and who I was psyched to work with. They're touring the states right now, go see them when they play your town. The second was for my pals Five O'Clock Heroes. The video (our fourth together) is for their fan favorite "Run To Her".
I'm happy to report that the Bouncing Souls and As Tall as Lions videos are now complete and will be up soon. As for Fountains of Wayne, it is in the final stages and should be finished next week. Check back soon to watch the final products!

I just wrapped my third music video of the new year, and boy was it fun. This time I had the honor of working with Fountains of Wayne, making the video for the first single "Someone to love" off their forthcoming album. The band wrote yet another perfect pop song, which is something like a lighter, updated version of "Eleanor Rigby" only with disco beats instead of an eight piece string section. The video stars the incredible Demetri Martin and up and coming starlet Faryl Millet. There were no 80's supermodels on set (sorry kids), but Demetri and Faryl certainly made up for it.

You can check out some more great photos over at Laura's site. Make sure to grab the new album "Traffic and Weather" when it comes out on April 3rd.
Monday February 19
This past weekend I directed a new video for As Tall As Lions. The track is called "Love, Love, Love (Love, Love)" and it's so catchy that once you hear it, you're doomed. Don't hold me responsible for what happens after the sound waves reach your brain, I only handle the visuals.
On the Bouncing Souls front, the "Lean on Sheena" video should be finished by the end of the week. Stay tuned.
Wednesday January 17
I've been busy working on my first project of 2007, a music video for famed punk outfit Bouncing Souls. We'll be shooting in Asbury Park where they recorded their album. Check them out, and while you're at it check out this old favorite.
Saturday December 30
Logo, the newest channel from MTV Networks, has named "Nth Degree" the #1 video of 2006. How fabulous!
Happy New Year, here's to 2007...
Wednesday December 20
After months of sitting on my hard drive, the "Skin Deep" video is finally up for your viewing pleasure. Since we made this video, Five O'Clock Heroes have been busy touring the world, wowing and wooing crowds from Paris to Tokyo. Come welcome these bastards home at The Mercury Lounge on January 5th. Bring argyle socks for Elliot.
Wednesday November 15
Welcome to my new website.
